Spatial Planning

Family of tasks requiring a participant to mentally search a problem space and produce a move sequence (or route) that achieves a goal under spatial constraints. Distinct from continuous visuomotor control (pursuit, tracking) and from rule-switching paradigms. Members in the current catalog: tower-of-london-hanoi, stockings-of-cambridge; would gain maze-solving and traveling-salesman-problem if those proposals are approved.
