Matrix Reasoning (Raven's Progressive Matrices)

Participants view a matrix (typically 3x3) of abstract patterns with one cell missing, and select the option from a set of alternatives that completes the matrix according to the implicit rule. Accuracy is used as an index of non-verbal analytic reasoning and fluid intelligence.
