Probe how presuppositions triggered by definite descriptions, factive verbs, or aspectual operators behave under entailment-cancelling embeddings (negation, modals, conditionals, questions). Measures inferential commitment via acceptability or reading-time disruption — the canonical example is The king of France is bald under negation.
